The brief CG trailer is narrated by Varric, seemingly giving looks at the magical cities of Tevinter (presumably)as characters operate in the shadows. Varric remarks that there is no ancient prophecy or magic hand this time around, and that there’s a need for a new hero, one that the enemy will never see coming. It name drops some of Dragon Age’s most remarkable enemies, including Demons, Darkspawns, and the Dread Wolf of course, showing Solas looking at some new art work on the wall.

It’s the most detailed look yet at Dragon Age 4, although unfortunately, it ends short at 1:21 minutes. The final shot sees “Dragon Age” appear at the end, lingering just for a moment as if it’s about to reveal the title. However, it never does, and while one may question whether or not “Dragon Age” is its official title, that seems highly unlikely.
The game is still a couple of years away at this point, but fans may hope to see more games over the next couple of years. Recent reports indicate BioWare is aiming for FY2022, so as 2021 gets its start, here’s hoping this is the just the start to more Dragon Age content for fans.
Dragon Age 4 is in development.
