The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim fans regularly report seeing strange glitches in the game, which are often funny and quite unsettling on rare occasions. One Skyrim player saw a glitch that turned the entire city of Whiterun into a spooky ghost town, whereas another gamer shared their experience of a bug that turned an NPC into a horse. Similarly, another Skyrim fan witnessed a bug related to the game’s combat mechanics in some ways, which led to one of the funniest fights ever.

Reddit user yeezysonmyfeet99 uploaded a video on the Skyrim subreddit showing their unreal face-off with a relatively common enemy, a cave bear. Although highly aggressive and deadly for low-level players, a skilled gamer of The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim can easily defeat a cave bear. However, yeezysonmyfeet99’s video shows one of the most unusual cave bear fights. The user tries a stealth-based approach where they’re trying to sneak up on the Skyrim enemy. They fire an arrow at the bear, which leads to an unexpected outcome as the beast flies away in the air while spinning rapidly.

Understandably, an awkward glitch caused the bear to fly away, but the user kept their eye on it. They turn the camera towards the sky, which shows the Skyrim foe floating several hundred feet from the ground. Many players would’ve walked away from this situation, but not yeezysonmyfeet99 as they prepare for one last attack on the floating cave bear in Skyrim. They aim and fire a precise shot shown in slow motion, killing the bear and finally causing it to fall down. Moreover, the soothing background music makes the entire incident funnier.

Cave bears are one of the two bear sub-species found in The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim; the other is the snow bear. Skyrim players can get afflicted with Rockjoint or Bone Break Fever if they get hit by a cave bear. “Grin and Bear It,” and “A New Order” are the two quests in Skyrim where gamers directly interact with cave bears.

The Elder Scrolls 5 Skyrim: Anniversary Edition is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
