The gameplay trailer was released yesterday to YouTube. Players start the game standing across from each-other in a virtual colosseum while a number of weapons float between them. A timer counts down, and when it hits zero, players will have to move quickly to grab weapons and start firing at each other.

The game is being described as a test of reflexes, in that there will be a premium placed on a players ability to dodge incoming attacks. While players won’t get a ton of space to move around in, maneuvering through that space to avoid being hit will be just as important as hitting your opponents.

While there are a number of VR shooters already on the market, the games unique selling point is its dueling mechanic. Most VR shooters are single player, or sometimes co-op. One vs. one shooters are relatively rare on VR, and this game will most likely be interesting to players who enjoy the Gulag in Call of Duty:Warzone.

VR hasn’t broken into the mainstream yet, but it’s clear that lots gamers are starting to get interested in the technology. The addition of more multiplayer games to the VR canon is certainly a step in the right direction when it comes to attracting new players. Although these new players will have to be careful, as VR can quickly go wrong.
