Two protesters were captured on video dumping blue and white paint on the mural that Mayor Bill de Blasio had installed in front of President Donald Trump’s Trump Tower on 5th Avenue in Manhattan. Authorities said three people were arrested and given a desk appearance. They have since been released. A fourth person was issued a summons for posting flyers. This is the second time the mural was vandalized this week, after a man splattered red paint on the mural site Monday....

But in America, negative perceptions of Black men work like a trick question that police officers all too often get wrong—to devastating effect. Black Widow’s relatively poor box office performance after its first week, blamed on its Disney+ availability, has now seen star Scarlett Johansson sue Disney for breach of contract. According to The Wall Street Journal, Johansson’s contract stated that the movie would be released exclusively in theaters and that her salary was based on the movie’s box office performance. The WSJ’s sources claim that Black Widow being available on Disney+ has potentially cost Johansson more than $50 million....

In-Person BlizzCon Cancelled for the Second Year in a Row Saralyn Smith, the Executive Producer of BlizzCon, has posted to the convention’s official website stating that there will not be a physical BlizzCon event this year. She writes that building an in-person BlizzCon is “an epic and complex affair”—not only for Blizzard, but for all the people and companies that it partners with as well. It’s not all bad news, though....

It turns out those interested will have to wait a while longer, as it’s been revealed there will not be any “major frontline” releases from Blizzard Entertainment coming in its 2019 fiscal year. News comes by way of publisher Activision Blizzard’s recent financial earnings call, which stated that while the company saw success from expansions and re-releases such as World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth and Diablo 3: Eternal Collection for Nintendo Switch, respectively, the company is expecting revenue to drop off in the next 12 months....

That doesn’t stop the rumor mill that drives the games industry, however. Whether BioShock 4 is at The Game Awards, is surprisingly revealed early next year, or waits for E3 2022, fans are dying to see more. Now, new rumors from reliable sources put a lot of BioShock 4 on the table. First and foremost, BioWare stressed that the product that was made available is in a very early state and is in no way indicative of the final product. This should come as a huge relief to those who got their hands on the demo as it was filled with more than its fair share of glitches and bugs. They also added that the mistake occurred on Microsoft’s end, which is most likely why it appeared to those previewing this month’s Xbox Live Dashboard update....

Bioware was also kind enough to sneak in a release date at the end of the trailer. Expect to see Dragon Age 2 on store shelves beginning March 8, 2011, or March 11 if you’re in Europe. In a recent interview, the heads of the company explained that, with the upcoming Dragon Age II, the focus is on creating an entire world rather than a single storyline. It came as a surprise to some when BioWare announced that the customizable hero system used for Origins had been dropped in favor of a single protagonist. Players will still have the opportunity to select gender, but we already have a look at our new lead character, Hawke....

Sadly, some developers are less in touch with their creative fanbases than others, with the end result being that some beloved characters miss out on all the action. Stumped by a lack of reference materials or confused by lifeless community hubs, it’s no wonder many gamers stick to the more well known of characters. Thankfully, for fans of Dragon Age: Inquisition, developer BioWare is more than aware of your needs....

The English Football League (EFL) announced on Friday that Birmingham have been docked points following an investigation into the club’s finances. Birmingham were found to have breached rules on profitability and sustainability, with the deduction immediately coming into effect. Garry Monk’s side therefore drop from 13th in the Championship table to 18th, five points clear of the relegation zone, with eight games of the season to go. Birmingham have 14 days to decide whether or not to lodge an appeal against the punishment, with the club releasing a statement in response to the EFL’s announcement....
